UNE is supported on the 64-bit version of the latest modern, standards-based browsers. See ArcGIS Online supported browsers for more details.

 Only WebGL2-enabled browsers are supported.

Hardware requirements

For desktop browsers, it is recommended to have at least 8GB system memory and modern graphics hardware and a high-performance graphics card with at least 512MB (1GB recommended) of video memory. High-performance, stand-alone graphics cards typically have better performance than integrated graphics cards. If you need more detailed information about WebGL requirements, visit the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript system requirements documentation.

Tablet devices should have a minimum of 3GB of RAM (4 GB recommended), a powerful multi-core processor and graphics card, and the latest operating system installed.

When using a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), the virtual desktop client will need access to the hardware requirements listed above for desktop browsers. It is also recommended that you use the client specifically designed for your VDI. You will need to test and potentially adjust the VDI configuration to get optimal visualization performance.

ArcGIS Enterprise

UNE for ArcGIS is supported for ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 and 11.3 (11.3 recommended) on supported architectures.

Please see the ArcGIS Enterprise installation pages for prerequisites for installing UNE for ArcGIS.
